Vic: Vic govt has broken independent s charter

The Victorian Opposition says the government broke a key section of the state independent
MPs' charter with its handling of the royal commission into ambulance contracts.

Opposition legal affairs spokesman ROBERT DEAN says Premier STEVE BRACKS ignored the
charter by not consulting the Opposition on the commission's terms of reference.

Mr BRACKS said he would agree with every part of the charter drawn up by the state's
three independent MPs in the wake of the September 18 state election.
