GE EXPECTED TO RESCUE AIRCRAFT-LEASING COMPANY IN IRELAND.(BUSINESS)

A long-delayed General Electric Co. rescue package for GPA Group Plc, the world's largest aircraft lessor, is imminent and could be completed by Monday. The completion will end almost four months of intense negotiations between the two companies during which GPA teetered on the brink of financial collapse more than once.

The near completion was confirmed to Bloomberg Business News Thursday by a GPA source who requested anonymity.
