NEW YORK, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- ooVoo, an innovator in the way people communicate with real-time video, today announced the appointment of Asher Shiratzky as chief technology officer (CTO). A well-respected strategist and technology innovator, Shiratzky brings more than two decades of senior management and technical experience to ooVoo.
Shiratzky will be located in ooVoo's offices in Tel Aviv, Israel where he will lead the Company's product innovation team and oversee design of infrastructure and architecture functions.

Shiratzky brings more than 25 years of experience in product research and development; system engineering and architecture; data communication; voice and video over IP and IMS; enterprise systems; multimedia systems and service provider platforms. Most recently Shiratzky served as CTO of Radvision's technology business unit responsible for research, standardization and strategic development for visual communications products including high definition video-conferencing and converged video telephony services.
Prior to joining Radvision in 2003, Shiratzky was CTO at Sphera where he led research and development teams efforts in automated enterprise hosting systems. Shiratzky has also held the position of chief technology officer and vice president of technology at Elron TeleSoft and Elron Software NCC.
Mr. Shiratzky lives with his wife and three children in Tel-Aviv, Israel and enjoys reading and traveling in his spare time.
